Bravo FoodSaver. . .

Well normally I am not a big fan of customer service departments. But today I have to give credit where credit is due. Tilia the company that produces the line of FoodSaver products is receiving a great big high five from Justtex. After sending the following email to the customer service reps:

"Dear Nice Tilia Customer Service Person
I purchased in December two sets of your wonderful "FoodSaver 3 Piece
Round Canister Set" sets and have been very happy with the performance
of all of them. With the exception of one "FoodSaver Round Canister
1.5 Quart (5" dia x 6 3/4" H)" I have tried to seal it over and over
again and it won't hold a seal overnight. After a close examination of
the canister, I found three cracks located at the bottom center of the
canister in question. I now find myself looking for help from the only
people who can help me the "Nice Tilia Customer Service People." I
hope you are one of them.

Thank you for all your help"

The got back to me within 2 hours with a phone number to call, I then called the number and spoke to a very helpful CSR who after asking a few questions informed me that they would be shipping out a replacement canister ASAP.

Now thats how I define Customer Service
